Teuchi Udon Kuukai
Last month I had a chance to visit to Shuunan City in Yamaguchi Prefecture for business trip. The city itself doesn't offer any interesting sightseeing spot, however the city does have a lot of delicious food to offer.

Tonki - Tonkatsu Restaurant
Tonkatsu, deep fried pork cutlet, is no doubt one of my favorite Japanese foods. Tokyo offers lots of Tonkatsu restaurants. However, when we talk about personal recommendation, there are two places I would recommend. One is Katsukura in Shiodome, and the other one is Tonki in Meguro.

I rarely eat a cake. Not because I don't like cake, I just prefer to eat other foods. However, if I live in DC, I would definitely treat myself once in a while with these delicious mouthwatering Georgetown Cupcakes.

Hiroshima Okonomiyaki
Most of you probably have heard about Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き). Some people call it the Japanese Pancake, others called it the Japanese Pizza. The name came from the word okonomi (to one's liking) and yaki (grill/cook). As the name implies, you could put whatever ingredients you want (cabbage, egg, cheese, meat, shrimp, scallop, pork, kimchi, etc) and cook it on top of an iron griddle called teppan. Australia: Melbourne Food
The food culture is strong in Melbourne. There are plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and open market to satisfy your hunger. I kinda wish some of those restaurants are in Japan to satisfy my need. See food photos here

Sari Laut Palembang

Palembang, my hometown, is a capital city of South Sumatra in Indonesia. It's a nice little city. Although there is not many things you could do there, the food is delicious. One of the restaurant I could recommend is Sari Laut, a seafood restaurant.

Social House Jakarta

Other than photography, one thing that I like to do is doing Food Hunting. Located in Grand Indonesia, Social House is a new restaurant that is quite popular as a new hang out place in Jakarta. As a food hunter, I feel obligated to pay a visit there.
