At the end of each Wonder Festival, Good Smile Company usually has a live broadcast called Nama Wonhobby. Last Sunday, for the very first time, they started an English version of it called Wonhobby Broadcast International Ver at Good Smile Tetsujin Cafe in Akihabara. The broadcast was hosted by Danny Choo and Ferlyn Yoshimi using Nico Nico Douga.

Apple Store 5th Avenue

While in New York, I visited the most beautiful Apple Store I've ever seen, the Apple Store 5th Avenue. The tall glass cube, with Apple logo on the middle of it, stood high and proud among the buildings. It was a beautiful piece of architecture.

iPhone 4S

I finally upgraded my iPhone from 3GS to 4S a few weeks ago. I've been trying my hard to resist the temptation to upgrade my iPhone when iPhone 4 came out last year. I couldn't get it because I was stuck with my 2 years contract at that time. When iPhone 4S came out, I still had a couple of months left in my contract. Luckily, Softbank had a free upgrade plan from 3GS to 4S. And that's how I got my iPhone 4S.

Oohara Naked Festival

Wait, Naked Festival ?? Well, don't worry. The men weren't entirely naked. Every year in Isumi City, Chiba Prefecture, the Japanese people celebrates the Oohara Hadaka ( Naked ) Festival. The festival is celebrated by hundreds of nearly naked males and females to wish for the good luck and the prosperity of the year. It is by far the most interesting festival I've ever seen.

Flowers are part of the Japanese culture. Apart from Sakura, Japan has many flowers to enjoy throughout the seasons, such as Ajisai, Kouyou, Rengeshouma, Ume, Yuri, etc. Higashi Murayama is a pretty good place to hunt flowers.

Hiroshima Okonomiyaki

Most of you probably have heard about Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き). Some people call it the Japanese Pancake, others called it the Japanese Pizza. The name came from the word okonomi (to one's liking) and yaki (grill/cook). As the name implies, you could put whatever ingredients you want (cabbage, egg, cheese, meat, shrimp, scallop, pork, kimchi, etc) and cook it on top of an iron griddle called teppan. Back in April 1998, to celebrate and strengthen the France - Japan relationship, the original French Statue of Liberty was briefly put in Japan for one year. Bokeh (暈け or ボケ) is a a Japanese term for the subjective aesthetic quality of out-of-focus areas of a photographic image. It refers to those beautiful magical out-of-focus light, with different shapes and colors that you found in the background of many photos taken with large aperture ( such as f1.8 or larger ). Singapore Travel

I love traveling. Traveling for me is like a therapy when things get crazy. I always try to take lots of travel photos because the photos are making me happy. When you look at the photos, you can recall back your memories of that place and time. Remembering the time when you strolled down the street, remembering how good the foods were, remembering how you felt when you explored something new, remembering how beautiful what life had offered.

During my holiday, I went to Singapore again to meet old and new friends, explore new and interesting places, take silly photos, eat delicious food, and enjoy what Singapore has to offer. Mount Fuji Climbing

Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776 m (12,388 feet). For many people, summer season means it is time to challenge themselves to climb Mount Fuji for whatever crazy or wild reasons they have. As for me, I love nature and I love taking photos. Who doesn't know who Doraemon is ? Doraemon is a popular and long-running manga about a robotic cat who come from the future to help Nobi Nobita. Doraemon manga was created by the duo Fujiko Fujio. Fujiko Fujio is a pen name for Hiroshi Fujimoto ( Fujiko F. Fujio ) and Abiko Moto ( Fujiko Fujio A ). Fujimoto is one of my favorite manga artists. Having fun at CGM Night today. I was able to taste Mirai-chan Curry for the first time. Mirai-chan Curry is a collaboration between Danny Choo with the Max Factory Indian restaurant Indotei. It's a sweet curry with half-boiled egg and cheese on top.

Christmas is coming. Some people already started celebrating it. KMKI (Keluarga Masyarakat Kristen Indonesia) is an Indonesian Christian Communities in Japan. KMKI members are Indonesian who live in Japan. To celebrate Christmas, KMKI hosting Christmas Mass every year. This year Christmas Mass was held yesterday in Balai Indonesia, Meguro.

Himeji Castle

During the Kobe trip, I walked too much. I could hear my legs begging me to stop walking and take a one day rest. I tried to listen to them but it would be a shame if I wasted my holiday only to stay at home. Thankfully, my legs and I finally came to an agreement that we should spend our morning resting, then take the later train in the afternoon.

Kobe Walker

It was Thursday in the afternoon. The wind was quite strong that day due to the typhoon. I was a bit worried if the typhoon would ruin my weekends. Fortunately, aside from the wind, everything was great. No rain, no cloud, and the sun shined brightly.

When I heard from my friends that they planned to go to Kobe in the weekends, I thought that it was a crazy thing to do. If I wanted to join, I needed to pack my things, to arrange a place for me to stay, and to buy the Shinkansen ticket as soon as possible. I needed to do everything within one day. No, I should have said within half day because I had to work on Friday. It's going to be a tough journey but I was sure that it's going to be a fun one. It's going to be a FUN one ! With that in my mind, I decided to join the fun.

For people who has interest on learning the stories of Japanese immigrants, The Japanese Overseas Migration Museum is the right museum for you. Located in the port city of Yokohama, this museum presents the stories of the Japanese people who emigrated to the New World in the late 19th and 20th centuries and their descendants. Run by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and opened in 2002, the Japanese Overseas Migration Museum receives 30,000 visitors per year.

Yesterday my friends and I decided to go a little bit further from Tokyo or Chiba. Ibaraki Prefecture, not to be misspelled as Ibaragi, was our destination. Ibaraki is located in the northeastern part of Kantou region. And inside Ibaraki Prefecture was the Chateau D. Kamiya.

Narita Airport Train

I was asked last time by someone to show the way to go to the city (Chiba or Tokyo) from Narita Airport. Taking the train in Japan is fairly easy because there is lots of English signs almost everywhere. The ticket machine also has the english version so you will not have any trouble purchasing the train ticket.
